About Auctory Tools

Auctory Tools is a set of 31 free browser tools for the small, annoying jobs that sit between you and finishing your work: resizing a photo for a marketplace listing, squeezing a PDF under an upload limit, fixing Turkish characters in a CSV, burning subtitles into a video, checking whether a font can legally be embedded on your website. It is made by Auctory AI.

Why the tools run in your browser

Almost every "free online converter" works the same way: you upload your file to a stranger's server, a program you cannot see does something to it, and you download the result. That model has three problems, and all three of them are the reason this site exists.

Privacy. The files people convert are rarely neutral. They are payroll spreadsheets, ID scans for a visa application, a customer list, a signed contract, an unreleased track, a thesis nobody has read yet. Uploading those to an anonymous service means trusting a company you have never heard of with a copy you can never get back. Here, there is no upload step at all — the browser reads the file from your disk, works on it in memory using Canvas, Web Audio, WebAssembly and Web Workers, and writes the result straight back to your downloads folder. Nothing is transmitted, so nothing can be stored, leaked or resold.

Speed. Server-based tools spend most of their time moving bytes. A 400 MB video has to be uploaded over your connection, wait in a queue behind other people's jobs, and then be downloaded again. In your browser the file is already there — the work starts the instant you drop it in, and the only limit is your own machine.

No artificial limits. Because we are not paying for anyone's CPU time or bandwidth, we have no reason to invent limits. There is no "two files per hour", no 200 KB cap on the file you can open, no watermark stamped across your export, no sign-up wall between you and the download button. Those restrictions exist to sell subscriptions, not because the task is expensive.

The honest counterpart: browser processing depends on your device. A very large file can exhaust the memory your browser allows, and an old phone will be slower than a desktop. We would rather hit that ceiling occasionally than route your documents through a server.

What is in the collection

The 31 tools are grouped by the kind of work they do:

• Images & print — batch watermarking, EXIF viewing and removal, 300 DPI print conversion, PNG to SVG vectorisation, passport and biometric photo sizes, marketplace image compliance checks, YouTube thumbnail previews.
• PDF — compress to an exact target size, auto-crop margins for tablets and e-readers.
• Spreadsheets & data — repair broken Turkish characters in CSV files, split and merge Excel workbooks, bulk file renaming from a list, bulk QR codes from a CSV, two-way Anki deck conversion.
• Audio & video — LUFS loudness metering and normalisation, silence removal, audio extraction, compress video to a target size, burn subtitles, subtitle sync repair, waveform podcast videos, music visualisers.
• Fonts — embedding-licence (fsType) checks and Turkish character support checks.
• Game dev & 3D printing — texture atlas packing with Unity, Godot, Phaser and PixiJS output; STL print-readiness analysis.
• Sport & location — Garmin FIT conversion to GPX, TCX or CSV, with no file-size ceiling.
• Made for Türkiye — Turkish ID, tax number and IBAN validation, thesis format checking against university guides, shift schedules aware of labour-law rest rules, and a KVKK privacy notice builder.

Every tool exists in English and Turkish, and new ones are added as we hit new annoyances — or as readers report theirs.

How this is paid for

We would rather tell you than let you guess. Auctory Tools is free and has no subscription, no premium tier and no paid unlock. The plan is to cover hosting and development with advertising. Advertising is switched off today — no ad script loads and no ad cookie is set — and when it is enabled it will be conventional display advertising, most likely through Google, with a cookie notice shown first.

What advertising will never mean here: selling your data (we have none), uploading your files to profile you (there is no upload), or hiding the download button behind a payment. If the business model ever stops fitting the privacy promise, the privacy promise wins.

Who this is for

People who work with files and do not want a subscription for it: e-commerce sellers preparing product photos for Trendyol, Hepsiburada, Amazon and Etsy; office and HR staff dealing with payroll PDFs, rosters and KVKK paperwork; students formatting a thesis; editors, podcasters and YouTubers cleaning up audio and subtitles; designers checking font licences; developers packing sprite atlases; makers checking an STL before a twelve-hour print; cyclists and runners freeing their data out of a FIT file.

And anyone who has ever paused before dragging a personal document onto a website they do not recognise. That pause is the right instinct. This site is built so you do not need it.
