Free Amazon image checker for the main product photo: no watermark, no sign-up, and your files never leave your device. Every image is measured against the requirements Amazon actually publishes — a pure white RGB 255,255,255 background, the product filling at least 85% of the image frame, a longest side of at least 1000 px so zoom is enabled (1600 px or more is the comfortable target) and a 10 MB ceiling.
Check all of your images at once instead of one at a time — and let none of them leave your computer. Other Amazon image checkers take one file at a time; this one takes the batch, explains each failure and rebuilds the failing images on a white canvas for you.
Drop your Amazon product photos on the left — the whole batch at once is fine. Nothing is uploaded.
Amazon is already selected: pure white background, 85% product fill, 1000 px minimum (1600 px recommended), 10 MB limit.
Fix the failing images with one click — they come back centred on a pure white square canvas as a ZIP with a CSV report.
Pure white means RGB 255,255,255, not “looks white”. Studio paper photographs slightly grey or slightly cream, and a drop shadow under the product is off-white by definition. On a bright monitor you cannot see the difference; an automated check can. This tool separates the backdrop from the product with a stack-based flood fill from the corners, then measures how far the backdrop pixels are from 255,255,255 and reports the percentage and the average deviation.
The 85% rule means the product should fill the frame rather than float in white space. This checker takes the bounding box of everything that is not background and divides its longest side by the matching side of the image — the way the rule is read in practice. The bounding-box area ratio is shown alongside it, because those two numbers are very different for a tall bottle or a wide rug and it would be dishonest to show only one.
The 1000 px minimum is what enables zoom; 1600 px on the longest side is the size that makes zoom genuinely useful. Amazon is the one rule set in this tool marked as verified — the values come from the official Seller Central image requirements, not from a forum post.
The main image needs a pure white background (RGB 255,255,255), the product filling at least 85% of the image frame, and a longest side of at least 1000 px so zoom works — 1600 px or more is recommended. Files must stay under the 10 MB limit. This tool checks all of that at once for a whole folder of photos.
Drop the image in. The checker flood-fills the backdrop from the corners, so shadows and gradients stay part of the background, then measures every background pixel against pure white and reports the percentage that is off and the average deviation. You get a reason, not just a red cross.
That is the published guidance for the main image, and this tool measures it from the real bounding box of your product rather than guessing. If your product is too small in the frame, the fix step re-crops and re-scales it to the fill ratio you choose on a pure white canvas.
Neither. Every image is decoded, measured and rewritten inside your own browser tab. There is no upload and no account, and this tool has no connection to Amazon — it only implements the published image requirements.
